The Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes basketball squad (Wilmington, NC), was nudged 49-48 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC)

With the victory, West Brunswick advances its record to 4-1 on the year. The Trojans host Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC) to meet the Titans in a non-league battle on Friday, December 6. The Titans enter the battle with a record of 1-2. Heide Trask lost 61-10 in their recent non-league battle against Laney (Wilmington, NC)

The Hurricanes now own a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harrells Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 10.
