North Carolina High School Basketball - Raleigh Charter routs Excelsior Classical Academy
December 4, 2024: Durham, NC 27704 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Raleigh Charter Phoenix basketball team scored a big 48-11 triumph over the Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions.
The Phoenix (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC). The Patriots go into the 1A/2A Super Six contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Franklin Academy smashed Research Triangle (Research Triangle Park, NC), 62-24, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Flying Lions battle the Hawbridge Herons (Graham, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 5. Excelsior Classical Academy will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Herons go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 55-9 non-league loss to Alamance Christian (Graham, NC).
