Washington High School Basketball - Marysville-Pilchuck trounced by Sedro-Woolley
December 4, 2024: Sedro-Woolley, WA 98284 Sedro-Woolley Cubs (Sedro-Woolley, WA) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Marysville-Pilchuck Tomahawks (Marysville, WA), 48-27 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Sedro-Woolley advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Cubs travel to Mt. Baker (Deming, WA) to face the Mountaineers in a non-league match on Monday, December 9. The Mountaineers enter the match with a record of 2-0.
The Tomahawks now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bellingham for a non-league match on Saturday, December 7. Marysville-Pilchuck will face a Bayhawks squad coming off a 28-26 non-league win over Marysville Getchell (Marysville, WA). The Bayhawks record now stands at 1-0.
