Nebraska High School Basketball - Hershey can't hold off Perkins County

Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE), 66-59 in a league match.

With the victory, Perkins County advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Plainsmen travel to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, NE) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Friday, December 5. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Cozad Haymakers (Cozad, NE) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 12. Hershey will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Haymakers go into the game with a 2-0 record after their 69-22 non-league win over Maxwell (Maxwell, NE).
