Manhattan Indians (Manhattan, KS) backers went home pleased Thursday as they observed their basketball team overcome the visiting Life Prep Fire (Park City, KS), 50-32 in a non-league contest.

The Indians (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Newton (Newton, KS). The Railroaders come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Newton defeated Olathe East (Olathe, KS), 42-40, in a non-league match.
