In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Minooka Indians basketball team scored a good 54-37 win over the Yorkville Foxes.

The Indians (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Metamora (Metamora, IL). The Redbirds come into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Metamora was topped by Washington (Washington, IL), 61-42, in a league contest.

Next up, the Foxes face the Plainfield South Cougars (Plainfield, IL) in a SouthWest Prairie - East match, on Tuesday, December 9. Yorkville will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 3-3 record after their 50-40 non-league loss to Normal Community (Normal, IL).
