Edison Chargers (Huntington Beach, CA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Servite Friars (Anaheim, CA), 62-57 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Edison upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to La Quinta (Westminster, CA) to play the Aztecs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 7. The Aztecs come into the bout with a record of 0-4. La Quinta lost 46-33 in their recent non-league bout against Northwood (Irvine, CA)

Next up, the Friars play the Valencia Tigers (Placentia, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 7. Servite will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 63-59 non-league loss to Fountain Valley (Fountain Valley, CA).
