The Dixon Dukes & Duchesses basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Rochelle Hubs to 51 in the Dukes & Duchesses non-league victory on Monday.

The Dukes & Duchesses now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodstock for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Dixon will battle a Blue Streaks team coming off a 50-44 non-league loss to Sycamore (Sycamore, IL). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 2-4.

The Hubs (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Plano (Plano, IL). The Reapers come into the Interstate Eight contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Plano was nudged by Yorkville (Yorkville, IL), 68-34, in a non-league contest.
