December 5, 2022: Philadelphia, PA 19139 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the West Catholic Burrs (Philadelphia, PA) and the visiting Abington Friends (Jenkintown, PA), saw West Catholic's basketball squad wallop Abington Friends by a count of 69-29.
With the victory, West Catholic upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Burrs travel to Colonial Forge (Stafford, VA) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Colonial Forge lost 49-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Battlefield (Haymarket, VA)
Next up, the play the Jenkintown Drakes (Jenkintown, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 8. Abington Friends will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Drakes come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 18-11 non-league win over Philadelphia Montgomery Christian Academy (Erdenheim, PA).
