The Pelion Panthers basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Blackville-Hilda Fighting Hawks to 49 in the Panthers non-league victory on Monday.

The Panthers now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gilbert for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 7. Pelion will battle a Indians team coming off a 49-46 non-league win over Strom Thurmond (Johnston, SC). The Indians record now stands at 5-1.

The Fighting Hawks (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Barnwell (Barnwell, SC). The Warhorses come into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Barnwell edged Bamberg-Ehrhardt (Bamberg, SC), 52-31, in a non-league contest.
