The Palo Verde Panthers basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Cimarron-Memorial Spartans to 48 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Panthers now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Silverado for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8. Palo Verde will battle a Skyhawks team coming off a 65-41 non-league loss to Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV). The Skyhawks record now stands at 4-2.

The Spartans (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sierra Vista (Las Vegas, NV). The Mountain Lions enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Sierra Vista triumphed over Del Sol (Las Vegas, NV), 63-48, in a non-league bout.
