Virginia High School Basketball - Powhatan crushes Goochland
December 5, 2022: Powhatan, VA 23139 Powhatan Indians (Powhatan, VA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA), 50-6 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Powhatan upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Indians travel to Midlothian (Midlothian, VA) to clash with the Trojans in a Dominion bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Midlothian lost 65-27 in their recent league bout against Manchester (Midlothian, VA)
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 7. Goochland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 49-44 non-league win over Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA).
