Michigan High School Basketball - Marian tipped by Imlay City
December 5, 2022: Imlay City, MI 48444 The Imlay City Spartans basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Marian Mustangs to 40 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Monday.
The Spartans now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Peck for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Imlay City will meet a Pirates team coming off a 46-4 league win over Akron-Fairgrove (Fairgrove, MI). The Pirates record now stands at 1-1.
The Mustangs (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Howell (Howell, MI). The Highlanders enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Howell was nudged by Williamston (Williamston, MI), 45-39, in a non-league contest.
