Missouri High School Basketball - Wheaton topped by Northeast Vernon County
December 5, 2022: Wheaton, MO 64874 The Northeast Vernon County Knights basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Wheaton Bulldogs to 34 in the Knights non-league victory on Monday.
The Knights now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hume for a Golden Valley Vernon contest on Friday, December 9.
The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Galena (Galena, MO). The Bears come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Galena was defeated by Greenwood (Springfield, MO), 53-49, in a non-league contest.
