North Carolina High School Basketball - Mountain Island Charter overwhelms Covenant Classical

December 5, 2022: Concord, NC 28027

Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC) and the host Covenant Classical Warriors (Concord, NC), saw Mountain Island Charter's basketball squad wallop Covenant Classical by a tally of 64-33.

With the victory, Mountain Island Charter improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Raptor travel to Albemarle (Albemarle, NC) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Albemarle lost 72-28 in their recent non-league challenge against West Stanly (Oakboro, NC)

Next up, the Warriors confront the Jackson Day Mariners (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 6. Covenant Classical will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record.
