December 5, 2023: Albany, OH 45710 The Fairfield Union Falcons (Lancaster, OH) basketball crushed the host Alexander Spartans (Albany, OH), 62-15 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Falcons (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH). The Bulldogs go into the Mid-State - Buckeye test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Bloom-Carroll was trounced by Johnstown-Monroe (Johnstown, OH), 49-40, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Nelsonville-York for a Tri-Valley I test on Friday, December 8. Alexander will encounter a Buckeyes squad coming off a 60-41 non-league loss to New Lexington (New Lexington, OH). The Buckeyes record now stands at 1-1.
