December 5, 2023: Arthur, IL 61911 Arthur-Okaw Christian Conquering Riders (Arthur, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Unity Christian Lions (Decatur, IL), 68-43 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Arthur-Okaw Christian upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Conquering Riders travel to Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond (Arthur, IL) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond lost 79-33 in their recent non-league bout against Tuscola (Tuscola, IL)
Next up, the Lions play the Lutheran Crusaders (Springfield, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Unity Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
