Oregon High School Basketball - North Marion can't hold off Astoria
December 5, 2023: Aurora, OR 97002 The Astoria Fishermen basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host North Marion Huskies to 63 in the Fishermen non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Fishermen now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Corbett for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Astoria will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 68-47 league loss to Delphian (Sheridan, OR). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-3.
The Huskies (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Phoenix (Phoenix, OR). The Pirates come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Phoenix edged St. Mary's (Medford, OR), 63-56, in a non-league contest.
