December 5, 2023: Fort Worth, TX 76052 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Birdville Hawks (North Richland Hills, TX) and the host V.R. Eaton Eagles (Fort Worth, TX), saw Birdville's basketball squad hold off V.R. Eaton by a count of 54-52.
With the victory, Birdville upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Mansfield (Mansfield, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 11. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Mansfield won 63-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Lamar (Arlington, TX)
Next up, the Eagles play the Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. V.R. Eaton will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 57-42 non-league loss to Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX).
