Missouri High School Basketball - Lincoln can't hold off Butler
December 5, 2023: Lincoln, MO 65338 The Butler Bears basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Lincoln Cardinals to 43 in the Bears non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bears now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Archie for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Butler will battle a Whirlwinds team coming off a 44-42 non-league loss to Clinton (Clinton, MO). The Whirlwinds record now stands at 0-1.
The Cardinals (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeland (Deepwater, MO). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Lakeland was nudged by Leeton (Leeton, MO), 67-59, in a non-league contest.
