Texas High School Basketball - Rains nips Chapel Hill
December 5, 2023: Tyler, TX 75707 Rains Wildcats (Emory, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Chapel Hill Bulldogs (Tyler, TX), 55-54 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Rains upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Village Tech (Duncanville, TX) to play the Viper Squid in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Viper Squid come into the bout with a record of 2-5. Village Tech lost 61-58 in their recent non-league bout against Lucas Christian Academy (Lucas, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Rusk Eagles (Rusk, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Chapel Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record.
