Michigan High School Basketball - Christian tops South Christian
December 5, 2023: Grand Rapids, MI 49506 Christian Eagles (Grand Rapids, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting South Christian Sailors (Grand Rapids, MI), 58-48 in a league bout.
With the victory, Christian upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Wyoming (Wyoming, MI) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Wyoming lost 65-53 in their recent non-league bout against Coopersville (Coopersville, MI)
Next up, the Sailors play the Holland Christian Maroons (Holland, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. South Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Maroons come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 72-35 non-league win over Calvin Christian (Grandville, MI).
