The Covington Owls routed the host Gholson basketball team by a final score of 63-33 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Owls face the Community Christian Warriors (Mineral Wells, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, December 7. Covington will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 9-1 record after their 70-30 non-league win over Fellowship Academy (Kennedale, TX).
