The Summit Shasta Black Bears basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Crystal Springs Uplands Gryphons to 54 in the Black Bears non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Black Bears now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8.

The Gryphons (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Drew (San Francisco, CA). The Dragons come into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record.
