Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Giltner Hornets (Giltner, NE) and the host Elba Bluejays (Elba, NE), saw Giltner's basketball squad wallop Elba by a tally of 56-12.

With the victory, Giltner improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Hornets host Heartland (Henderson, NE) to play the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Heartland lost 44-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Sutton (Sutton, NE)

Next up, the Bluejays play the Silver Lake Mustangs (Roseland, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. Elba will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 62-37 non-league loss to Axtell (Axtell, NE).
