Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Hanover nips Pequea Valley
December 5, 2023: Kinzers, PA 17535 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hanover Nighthawks (Hanover, PA) and the host Pequea Valley Braves (Kinzers, PA), saw Hanover's basketball squad hold off Pequea Valley by a count of 69-62.
With the victory, Hanover upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Nighthawks travel to Littlestown (Littlestown, PA) to play the Thunderbolts in a York-Adams 4 challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Thunderbolts come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Braves play the Octorara Area Braves (Atglen, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 7. Pequea Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 68-61 non-league win over Kennett (Kennett Square, PA).
