California High School Basketball - Needles crushes Laughlin

December 5, 2023: Needles, CA 92363

Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Laughlin Cougars (Laughlin, NV), 83-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Needles upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs host White Pine (Ely, NV) to play the Bobcats in a 2A Southern bout on Friday, December 8. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Cougars play the Awaken Christian Lions (Las Vegas, NV) in a 2A Southern bout, on Thursday, December 7. Laughlin will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 71-16 non-league win over Trinity International (Las Vegas, NV).
