December 5, 2023: Camp Hill, AL 36850 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Macon-East Montgomery Academy Knights (Cecil, AL) and the host Southern Prep Academy Fighting Rangers (Camp Hill, AL), saw Macon-East Montgomery Academy's basketball squad wallop Southern Prep Academy by a tally of 64-19.
With the victory, Macon-East Montgomery Academy improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Knights host Lee-Scott Academy (Auburn, AL) to play the Warriors in a AISA AAA Region 1 challenge on Thursday, December 7. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Lee-Scott Academy won 50-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Lakeside School (Eufaula, AL)
Next up, the Fighting Rangers play the Trinity Christian Eagles (Opelika, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 11. Southern Prep Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 45-40 non-league win over Chambers Academy (LaFayette, AL).
