Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Malcolm Clippers (Malcolm, NE) and the visiting North Bend Central Tigers (North Bend, NE), saw Malcolm's basketball squad hold off North Bend Central by a tally of 51-49.

With the victory, Malcolm advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Clippers travel to Platteview (Springfield, NE) to encounter the Trojans in a non-league outing on Saturday, December 9.
