The Naselle Comets basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Washington School for the Deaf Terriers to 27 in the Comets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Comets now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Firm Foundation Christian for a 1B Columbia Valley contest on Thursday, December 7. Naselle will battle a Eagles team coming off a 85-39 league loss to Mossyrock (Mossyrock, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
The Terriers (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Columbia Adventist Academy (Battle Ground, WA). The Kodiaks enter the 1B Columbia Valley contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Columbia Adventist Academy was routed by Willapa Valley (Menlo, WA), 48-42, in a league contest.
