Arizona High School Basketball - Verrado thwarts West Point
December 5, 2023: Buckeye, AZ 85396 The Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ) basketball knocked off the visiting West Point Dragons (Avondale, AZ), 69-53 in Tuesday's league test.
The Vipers (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ). The Aztecs go into the test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Copper Canyon went down by Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ), 74-34, in a non-league test.
The Dragons now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Agua Fria for a non-league test on Thursday, December 7. West Point will encounter a Owls squad coming off a 40-30 non-league win over Metro Tech (Phoenix, AZ). The Owls record now stands at 1-0.
