Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Springfield tops Bishop Shanahan
December 5, 2023: Springfield, PA 19064 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Springfield Cougars (Springfield, PA) and the visiting Bishop Shanahan Eagles (Downingtown, PA), saw Springfield's basketball squad knock off Bishop Shanahan by a count of 46-28.
With the victory, Springfield upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Harriton (Rosemont, PA) to play the Rams in a Central challenge on Thursday, December 7. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Harriton won 49-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Mt. St. Joseph Academy (Flourtown, PA)
Next up, the Eagles play the Cardinal O'Hara Lions (Springfield, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 7. Bishop Shanahan will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
