Texas High School Basketball - Sterling tops Channelview
December 5, 2023: Channelview, TX 77530 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sterling Rangers (Baytown, TX) and the host Channelview Falcons (Channelview, TX), saw Sterling's basketball squad knock off Channelview by a count of 34-26.
With the victory, Sterling upgrades its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Pasadena Memorial (Pasadena, TX) to play the Mavericks in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a record of 7-9. Pasadena Memorial lost 47-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Nimitz (Houston, TX)
Next up, the Falcons play the Sam Rayburn Texans (Pasadena, TX) in a 6A Region III District 22 challenge, on Friday, December 15. Channelview will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.
