December 5, 2023: Copperas Cove, TX 76522 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Ellison Eagles (Killeen, TX) and the host Copperas Cove Bulldawgs (Copperas Cove, TX), saw Ellison's basketball squad overcome Copperas Cove by a tally of 34-25.
With the victory, Ellison improves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Eagles host Waco (Waco, TX) to confront the Lions in a 5A Region III District 22 challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Waco lost 49-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Centennial (Burleson, TX)
Next up, the Bulldawgs confront the Lake Travis Cavaliers (Austin, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. Copperas Cove will attempt to improve on its 5-12 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 65-35 league loss to Westlake (Austin, TX).
