Oregon High School Basketball - South Eugene ripped by Corvallis
December 5, 2023: Eugene, OR 97401 The Corvallis Spartans basketball team scored 72 points and held the host South Eugene Axe to 31 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host La Salle for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Corvallis will battle a Falcons team coming off a 49-34 non-league loss to Beaverton (Beaverton, OR). The Falcons record now stands at 0-1.
The Axe (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against South Salem (Salem, OR). The Saxons enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, South Salem was routed by McMinnville (McMinnville, OR), 62-45, in a non-league contest.
