Kansas High School Basketball - Silver Lake overwhelms Council Grove
December 5, 2023: Council Grove, KS 66846 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Silver Lake Eagles (Silver Lake, KS) and the host Council Grove Braves (Council Grove, KS), saw Silver Lake's basketball squad wallop Council Grove by a tally of 90-18.
With the victory, Silver Lake improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Riley County (Riley, KS) to play the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Riley County won 31-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Concordia (Concordia, KS)
Next up, the Braves play the Rock Creek Mustangs (St. George, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. Council Grove will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 44-26 non-league win over Abilene (Abilene, KS).
