The Hickory Red Tornadoes basketball team (Hickory, NC), was toppled 63-46 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC)

The Patriots now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Burke for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 7. Freedom will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 60-35 non-league win over Draughn (Valdese, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 5-0.
