Texas High School Basketball - Nimitz thwarts Haltom
December 5, 2023: Irving, TX 75060 The Nimitz Vikings (Irving, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Haltom Buffalos (Haltom City, TX), 41-29 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Vikings (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX). The Wildcats go into the 6A Region I District 7 test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Lake Highlands went down by Rockwall-Heath (Rockwall, TX), 46-40, in a non-league test.
The Buffalos now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they host Paschal for a non-league test on Friday, December 8.
