December 5, 2023: Portland, OR 97220 The Hillsboro Spartans basketball team scored 38 points and held the host McDaniel Mountain Lions to 5 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roosevelt for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Hillsboro will battle a Roughriders team coming off a 57-24 non-league win over Sandy (Sandy, OR). The Roughriders record now stands at 2-0.
The Mountain Lions (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mary's Academy (Portland, OR). The Blues enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record.
