Iowa High School Basketball - Keokuk trounces West Branch
December 5, 2023: Keokuk, IA 52632 The Keokuk Chiefs (Keokuk, IA) basketball crushed the visiting West Branch Bears (West Branch, IA), 77-41 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Chiefs (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Burlington (Burlington, IA). The Grayhounds go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Burlington was trounced by Muscatine (Muscatine, IA), 69-52, in a league test.
The Bears now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Mid-Prairie for a River Valley - South test on Friday, December 8. West Branch will encounter a Golden Hawks squad coming off a 61-33 league win over West Liberty (West Liberty, IA). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 3-2.
