December 5, 2023: Alma, KS 66401 The Wabaunsee Chargers basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Manhattan HomeSchool CHIEF to 24 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Chargers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northern Heights for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Wabaunsee will face a Wildcats team coming off a 56-21 non-league loss to Frankfort (Frankfort, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.
With the defeat, Manhattan HomeSchool CHIEF moves to 0-1 on the year. The host Veritas Christian (Lawrence, KS) to face the Eagles in a Freelance match on Saturday, January 27. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 1-1.
