December 5, 2023: Lawrenceville, GA 30043 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Mountain View Bears (Lawrenceville, GA) and the visiting Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs (Winder, GA), saw Mountain View's basketball squad hold off Winder-Barrow by a tally of 37-32.
With the victory, Mountain View improves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Peachtree Ridge (Suwanee, GA) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Peachtree Ridge lost 40-29 in their recent league challenge against Discovery (Lawrenceville, GA)
Next up, the Bulldoggs play the Heritage Patriots (Conyers, GA) in a AAAAA Region 8 challenge, on Friday, December 8. Winder-Barrow will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 62-61 non-league win over Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA).
