Minnesota High School Basketball - Rockford nips West Lutheran
December 5, 2023: Rockford, MN 55373 Rockford Rockets (Rockford, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting West Lutheran Warriors (Plymouth, MN), 52-49 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Rockford upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Rockets host Minneapolis South (Minneapolis, MN) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Minneapolis South won 43-30 in their recent non-league bout against Breck (Minneapolis, MN)
Next up, the Warriors play the North Lakes Academy Huskies (Forest Lake, MN) in a A Section 4 bout, on Friday, December 8. West Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 89-11 non-league loss to Legacy Christian Academy (Andover, MN).
