Kansas High School Basketball - Wamego crushes Sabetha
December 5, 2023: Sabetha, KS 66534 Wamego Red Raiders (Wamego, KS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Sabetha Bluejays (Sabetha, KS), 50-15 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Wamego upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Red Raiders host Tonganoxie (Tonganoxie, KS) to play the Chieftains in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Chieftains go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Tonganoxie lost 41-32 in their recent non-league bout against Atchison (Atchison, KS)
Next up, the Bluejays play the Royal Valley Panthers (Hoyt, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Sabetha will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 42-22 non-league loss to Jefferson West (Meriden, KS).
