California High School Basketball - Canyon trounces Westlake
December 5, 2023: Canyon Country, CA 91351 The Canyon Cowboys (Canyon Country, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Westlake Warriors (Westlake Village, CA), 50-6 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cowboys (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Golden Valley (Santa Clarita, CA). The Grizzlies go into the test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Golden Valley was trounced by Hart (Newhall, CA), 46-19, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Rio Mesa for a non-league test on Monday, December 11. Westlake will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 40-26 non-league win over Thousand Oaks (Thousand Oaks, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.
