The Grimsley Whirlies basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Southern Alamance Patriots to 9 in the Whirlies non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Whirlies now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southeast Guilford for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Grimsley will battle a Falcons team coming off a 39-17 non-league win over Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 2-0.
