The Shelbyville Golden Bears (Shelbyville, IN) basketball nipped the host New Palestine Dragons (New Palestine, IN), 27-25 in Tuesday's league test.

The Golden Bears (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Rushville (Rushville, IN). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 5-4 record.
