Illinois High School Basketball - Argo tops Thornton Fractional South
December 5, 2023: Summit, IL 60501 Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL), 46-37 in a league bout.
With the victory, Argo upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Argonauts travel to Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Blue Island Eisenhower won 51-22 in their recent non-league bout against Chicago Military Academy (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Red Wolves play the Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL) in a bout, on Thursday, December 7. Thornton Fractional South will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
