Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Chino Valley Cougars (Chino Valley, AZ) and the visiting River Valley Dust Devils (Mohave Valley, AZ), saw Chino Valley's basketball squad hold off River Valley by a tally of 38-36.

With the victory, Chino Valley improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cougars host Fountain Hills (Fountain Hills, AZ) to confront the Falcons in a challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 2-0.

Next up, the Dust Devils confront the San Tan Foothills Sabercats (Queen Creek, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. River Valley will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
