December 5, 2023: Minneola, FL 34715 Lake Minneola Hawks (Minneola, FL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Lake Nona Lions (Orlando, FL), 64-59 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Lake Minneola upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Hawks host Evans (Orlando, FL) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 3-0.
Next up, the Lions play the Harmony Longhorns (Harmony, FL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 11. Lake Nona will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Longhorns come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 41-38 non-league loss to Gateway (Kissimmee, FL).
